The Adventure Begins Soon!
As the countdown begins for our exciting trip to Prague this August (19-25 August 2025), our team has been hard at work designing a week filled with creativity, challenge, and discovery.
Every step, every visit, and every activity has been chosen with purpose. Our goal is to give young people from Malta and Czechia the chance to grow, reflect, and explore the connection between play, learning, entrepreneurship, and community impact.
What Will We Do in Prague?
We carefully selected a variety of locations that combine fun, challenge, and deeper learning. Here’s a sneak peek at where we’re heading and why:
Mindmaze Mystery City Prague: The Astronomer's Treasure
A city-wide scavenger hunt with historical twists and cryptic puzzles. Participants will practise:
- Critical and creative thinking
- Navigation and planning
- Teamwork under time pressure
- Cultural awareness through real-world storytelling
Prison Island Prague
29 unique cells, all with high-energy space, where teams must think fast, move smart, and work together to complete as many tasks as possible.

- Physical activity combined with coordinated group effort
Albi board games developer
We’re thrilled to be hosted by Albi, the biggest Czech board game developer. Participants will get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at how games are created and they’ll:
- Test games developed by Albi
- Learn from professionals
- Explore how ideas become commercial games
- Begin creating their own game ideas, inspired by real industry insights
The Grail Escape Room & Games Venue
It’s a multifunctional space where we’ll meet as a group, get to know each other better, and borrow games to play together. It’s a coffee shop, games room, and event venue all in one. Participants will benefit from:
- Group bonding in a relaxed environment
- Access to a variety of games for learning and fun
- First discussions around team roles, dynamics, and collaboration
Tlama Games Board Game Cafe & Shop
One of the largest game hubs in Prague, it’s a board game café, store, and library all in one. A true one-stop shop for:
- Game mechanics and strategy
- Exploring diverse game styles and player experiences
- Community engagement through play

What Happens Outside These Visits?
We will continue building our shared experience through:
- Board game sessions that spark reflection and critical thinking
- Structured workshop where we introduce AI tools for game development, connecting tech with creativity
- Group discussions around entrepreneurship, purpose-driven ideas, and how play can become impact
Social Entrepreneurship: Seeing Beyond the Fun
We will not only play games and visit fun establishments – we will spend the entire week exploring how these activities and spaces could be adapted into social entrepreneurship models.
By discussing this with young people, we:
- Encourage early critical thinking about impact-driven business
- Help them see how fun can be purposeful, and hobbies can become careers
- Spark ideas for inclusive, community-based initiatives back home
- Inspire them to imagine how existing businesses could evolve to help more people
What Skills Are We Practising?
This project is about growth. All activities will be linked to the wider GameOn goal: showing how playful, well-designed experiences can lead to real-world ideas for businesses with social impact.
