Paniku

About Paniku

Paniku is a fast-thinking Maltese card game where players race against the clock to name items from a given category. Each turn, a player draws a card and reads a list challenge — for example, naming a certain number of actors, objects, places, or people — while the other players have just 10 seconds to respond.

If the group successfully completes the list in time, the card is discarded. If they fail, the player keeps the card and uses it to build their personal grid. The goal is simple but intense: be the first to complete your colour-matching grid.

It’s quick, energetic, and packed with moments of pressure and laughter.

Why Play Paniku?

Paniku is perfect when you want something lively and competitive that gets everyone talking. The 10-second time limit creates real tension, forcing players to think fast and speak confidently.

The grid-building element adds strategy to the speed challenge. You’re not just answering quickly – you’re trying to win specific cards that help you complete your grid first.

It works brilliantly for youth groups, classrooms, family nights, and parties. Easy to learn, fast to replay, and always unpredictable.
